All are welcome to come and play. No invitation or special software is necessary.

At the moment quizzes are played in the Global Trivium Quiz room which is listed under Games in an AOL and an AIM Chat Room Directory.
To maintain a friendly and pleasant atmosphere in this g-rated (family friendly) room we ask you to keep a respectful attitude towards others. All who wish to play a scheduled quiz should be aware of the room guidelines below.

Quiz Room Guidelines:

  • Be nice to people: Be civil and show respect for others. You may disagree with or dislike another person, but abusing them or being hateful to them is not acceptable.

  • Don't offend anyone: Comments made in the room which victimise, harass, degrade, embarrass or intimidate an individual (or group of individuals) on the basis of age, gender, nationality, disability, race, culture, religion, sexual orientation, political affiliation or any other reason are unacceptable.

  • Don't curse: Profanity, vulgarity or sexually explicit language, even if masked by symbols or other characters is inappropriate.

  • Remember others are trying to quiz: Try not to interfere with the flow of quizzes in the quiz room. Please don't enter into extended exchanges with other people or the host while a quiz is in progress.

  • Be forgiving: Be aware that quizzes are run and written by volunteers. Do expect them to contain mistakes and typographical errors.
    If you disagree with an answer, do not disrupt other players but take up the matter individually with the host by email.
    If a host misses your points - remember its only a game.

  • Behave: Everyone is welcome - but behaviour which maybe considered to be offensive or disruptive is not tolerated.
Reserved Fonts: Please note capital letters and bold red fonts are reserved for quizzes and the quiz host. Please avoid the use of brightly coloured fluorescent fonts and any others which may be considered difficult to read, thanks.

If any of the above guidelines are ignored, you may not receive a warning but be immediately ejected from the room. Further action that maybe taken includes: You will be reported to your ISP and transcripts representing disruptive or offensive conduct will be supplied. You may also be banned from future scheduled quizzes.
We also retain the right to refuse admission to the room. Be aware that Quiz Room Guidelines may change without notice.Please note - We do not review the profiles of players or quiz hosts and there is a chance it could contain material that is objectionable to you.
