Hourglass Association

This is a word association game with a twist. The object of the game is to give a word that is somehow related to the previous user's word.

However, the number of letters in the word that you give has to follow a pattern:
The first person gives a 10 letter word, then the second - a 9 letter word, the third - a 8 letter word, etc. until the 7th person who gives a 4 letter word.
At that point, the 8th person will 'change the direction' and give a 5 letter word, the 9th - a 6 letter word, etc. until the 13th user who gives a 10 letter word. Then the next user 'changes the direction' again and the game continues in the same pattern.

Words are allowed to be repeated, however the game stops if the 'hourglass' returns to the Start Word. Please go to the last page of this thread to see the current end of the list. Have Fun!
